TEXAS PECAN REPORT (via Phoenix, Arizona)

PECANS PRICES PAID TO GROWERS

TEXAS (Central, South, Eastern Areas)

Deliveries by growers to delivery points were very light. Demand was fairly
good for good quality pecans. Harvesting is expected to decline as most
harvesting has been completed for the season. Harvested quality has been
variable.

Demand was moderate for the retail and gift pack trade. Many growers are
putting pecans in cold storage for later sale. Buyers are continuing to make
purchases from other production areas or are waiting for additional
availability of pecans.

The weather forecast for the coming week calls for low temperatures from the
low 30s to low 50s, with high temperatures in the upper 40s to mid-60s.
There is a chance of precipitation every day this week. On Friday, January
11, there is a 60-100 percent chance of precipitation.

Thursday, January 10, 2019) at buyers delivery points or F.O.B. the orchard
